Days Nowadays......

Already the placements have kicked off in our college with IOCL inaugurating the show.All the students are caught with the placement fever which is mundane these days (Does this include me??).Every one's busy deciding which company to sit for,which company to spare or which company to be called next!! (Does i have this choice???).Every one's prepared with their formals ready for placement (do i have any??).Am i prepared for interviews either technically or mentally??

The but obvious answer  is "NO" to all these questions.It is only because i belong to once an elite branch Computer Science (still it is the one).Computer Science which is an official sibling of IT .IT the backbone of IT sector which is now pathetically hit by recession bug.Inturn we are badly hit by recession bug. IT firms are busy doing lay offs and deferring joining so when we will they ever think of recruitment?.Its the question which has grimaced IT fraternity.No doubt the core branches are still cutting the cake.(inme recession ka bhi asar nahi!!).Atleast we have reasons to celebrate for our batchmates.We have some out of sight benefit if they get placed soon.Try guessing!!

I have expected earlier to get the job in july or august this year and be free as a bird for the remaining final year (Best case analysis) but contrary to my expectations i may have to wait for a job until last month of my college life (Worst case analysis).Moreover the most glaring lacuna nowadays is that 90% of the IT firms have not given their joining to freshers of present year.I really pray for them to get joining soon.If not placement then higher study is the option left for all but there are few like me for whom job is a must(need) and entirely different plan for higher study.Higher study is not an easy job either it requires to face another exam plus good luck plus an amount of  fee.Truely i plan to do it after some job experience.

A candle of hope is that the market condition is improving and it will soon recover completely.Economist's says "The worst is already been seen".This we can even reason from BSE curves,although it fluctuates but its good enough to witness the recovery.The rate determining US economy also needs to improve gradually like ours then only we can be out of devil named recession.I have always believed "Time qualifies everything".Let see what does i have in my share?????
